I have yet to make that journey.  I hear there is a cog railway that makes a nice alternative to driving.

I'm back again looking at these pics.  I wanted to send my Sis to your site to look at the one where the squirrel is keeping his eye on you.  She hates squirrels since one got into the walls of her place and made a hole in the ceiling right over her computer.  She didn't even notice it above her head until she found a pile of sawdust and plaster dust on her keyboard and looked up.

My uncle used to live in Colorado Springs back in 1978.  We went out to visit him.  I was very hungover when we went up to Pike's Peak!
