Re: CCT,
I believe you're right. If you wrote a very direct letter, and IF they read it, and got the point, maybe you personally could be the savior of thousands of trees.

Re: dancin_ grandma,
I'm sad to say, I have sometimes missed things from friends, because it was lost among the trash.

Re: Annicita,
Agreed... thankfully, recycling puts the junk to some possible worthier use. Or, it just comes back to us as more junk.

Re: JimmyA
Maybe we should all save it up in big envelopes, then send it all back. If only there were a way to get them to pay the postage.

It is kind of madness Charities must waste 20% of their subscriptions I have sent money and received requests a couple of weeks later. So now I just send once a year and do not open the letters.

It is maddening! All the junk email you have to plow through to get to a few "goodies" from friends!

Join the club! I must admit, the amount of spam I had been receiving has actually lessened over the past few months ( somehow ), but the junk mail? Forget about it! No matter how many times my wife sends these companies some kind of notice that we are simply not interested in their products or services, the magazines and catalogues continue to flow in! Talk about a waste of paper and trees . . .
