well we also have some tall grass but ours is knee hight, afraid snakes might be hiding since there is water in the bottom of the pond. we are without a mower right now.
so nice how everyone is pitching in to help archies wife get a start. and thanks with the tomato shoot tip, i did not know that.
good idea on the compost too, we have never collected our clippings.
bell peppers i love to make them into stuffed peppers and the mexicans do something nice with them too, with meat and cheese.

I thought that was very interesting on the tomatoes! I fear there is not going to be enough time for me to have a garden this and it makes me a bit sad! sam

Re: C.C.
Hi Justi good luck with the tomatoes, it is not easy to grow them outside here, but essential to have them to freeze as the shop ones are not very flavoursome. I shall have to find out one day if she hit her target.

So you don't want her to warn off the next poor unsuspecting
bridegroom, thus slamming the door tight shut on any possibility you will change your mind and opt for a plethora of offspring - tricky... Nice flowers again. Love them. And your shrink friend will like the flowers, too.

$Sir, you’ve brought back memories of dumping the grass clippings on the compost heap. That’s hot gardening nitrogen wise for decomposing that, um, a great poem CCT! Excellent! Lol but this one’s true.

Good thing you've got a shrink close at hand that you may want to pass some of your poetry by Bro.

I actually knew of this business of pinching out side shoots from tomatoes, from the time I grew them before the neighbor's dogs arrived, or rather their flies...But I didn't know you can actually grow new plants from them...And 'a future of humps' is priceless...

I loved both of these. I liked the tomato advice. We will not have side shoots for some time we lay the plants down in soil up to almost the top they appear to bear better for us, but i love the other idea if we have any soon.
Being very clear and up front with a possible marriage contender is the best way to go. The prospect of having 10 children gives me the Hebe-jebbies!
