the problem is that we have a yard over 1.5 acres! it's all over the place. there is an office complex on the other side of the fence and they don't ever pull weeds or get rid of the ivy on their side of the fence so it keeps proliferating.....

No I do really feel sorry for you A. it must be horrible probably like shingles with weeping. You really must get rid of that terrible weed I thought stinging nettles were bad enough. I have had shingles so I know a little bit how you must feel.
