The name Deanna Durbin is just a faint echo to me, I'm afraid, but then my knowledge of 40's movies is very limited as well...

That's life... it goes on, for good and ill, and we choose what to focus on
...if we can. When one thing or another isn't in our faces, demanding attention and dealing-with.
I also remember Deanna Durbin by name, but not so much by her movies.
