Re:
No....I have a rash but not all over my whole body....just from waist up....thankfully not in my eyes like the one time when I wound up in the emergency room having steroids pumped in me through an IV

I continue to wish you well in your recovery from it...I think that they would give you an extension given the effort and the situation.

I'd be popping allergy meds--
Loratadine is my choice--the generic aka Clariton--though I imagine any strong antihistimine would help.
My mom had us bathe thoroughly with Fels Naptha soap whenever we'd been exposed to poison ivy.

I've been reading all of this and feeling sorry for you. I hope you haven't been burning poison ivy vines. The poison gets in the smoke and if you breath it it poisons your whole system. My MIL did that once and ended up in the hospital for three weeks with poison ivy rash all over her body. I hope that's not what has happened to you.

No! I can't bear it, use a fork and don't get in the smoke, I can't imagine anyone being allowed a fire here.

Whatever you do - don't scratch it, but let the spray work! And surely they won't insist that you finish the work in your present condition...
