I love how that lady, Glick, writes... She makes complex issues so simple to understand and she does not mince words...   I have encounter the apathy of my fellow Jews time and time again, and sometimes more than apathy  a  virulent willingness to overlook comments and  things that are obviously antisemitic  so as to no "make waves"  I guess they think that to be considered one of the boys ( or girls for that mater) they must ignore what should bother them and if they speak out they would be considered too "ethnic" to belong.  Its very sad because I have found that among my friends there are no visible distinctions between Christians , atheists and Jews in what concerns Israels plight... True that the reasons for wanting Israels well being are sometimes different  but that is just a matter of understanding.   That there are Jews who for whatever reason do not understand how vital to the stability of the Middle East Israel is , is incomprehensible to me.  Great article Naut.  Thanks for sharing it  xoxoxo

Re:

Fear, certainly. But are they scared of a lack of support, or of becoming an unwitting scape goat/martyr for angry extremists (on both sides!).

It takes a lot of guts to stand up and do something about a problem that has inspired hundreds of years of hatred and violence.

I have to come back to my same question, Naut. There are surely intelligent people out there who completely agree with this. So WHY are they not doing anything about it? I can't believe that politically correctness is the stumbling block. Maybe it's the fear of lack of support?

Well, I am an unapologetic Christian absolutist who believes that God is the ultimate source of our common morality that is as unchanging as He is.  So, that makes me also a Zionist since the two do seem to go together.  I'm afraid that we are in a real mess that probably is not going to get any better anytime soon.

Two great questions you ask there at the end. I myself do not have the answers though I shudder to think of how much more sufferering is going to occur and what catastrophes might await.
