I'm not familiar with the FTC (maybe it's an Amercian thing?), but they sound super annoying! When I get calls from people wanting money or trying to sell me something, I give the phone to the nearest kid, and tell them it's Santa

My previous DIL that died eight years ago racked up $30,000 debt. I found out (by many phone calls from collectors) that she had put me down as the person who would pay it off. I don't know how they think they can get something from me because I never ever signed anything and didn't even know she was spening money she didn't have. They still call here a lot trying to get their money. Mostly I ignore them.

I am hoping they stop calling as well! But, you make a good point that they will start up on another number, city, company name! It's big business and I know these types will not give in easily! sam
