That is the funniest picture.  He looks all gangly in that position.  LOL
I love your doggie posts.  It was so warm and sunny here today that I spent the early morning on Son #3's patio enjoying his large yard, trees, birds, squirrels, geese flying over, woodpeckers pecking, drinking coffee, and Rocky keeping me company.  Rocky is getting so old now that he totters and staggers.  He was rolling in the thick grass much like Ben is positioned there.

Now that's the look of a pampered dog! Believe it or not, my wife and I have certain rituals and routines with our cats as well, and they too get somewhat upset if we deviate from them in any way! They know what to expect, and when to expect it, and will never take No! for an answer! Isn't it wonderful that we have these special critters in our lives to distract us from all that is closing in on us . . . ?

LOL - Smooch often reclines in such a position. It's so funny!

Yes it's very nice, but I wish Master would have a couple of lamb chops for breakfast sometimes.

That was a touching read about him being ready to lick your bowl...I see that he is relaxing there.

No longer can we say of some poor mistreated soul

that they lead a dog's life. Ben does seem to have adopted you. :)
