There are so many folks out there looking to rent because buying is so difficult! A four bedroom house is a lot to keep up insofar as heating and cooling are for me! I know those areas really need to be in the budget for the year round cost so that the peak months are covered without taxing the budget overall. At least that's how I like to do it! I was a bit worried about the size of the house I am buying because my income is so limited but in the summer I have the big tree blocking the sun and no idea what winter will bring! So, perhaps she should use one of those calculators that can give her an idea of the amount she can afford and that might make the rental picture clearer! It's a shame that folks who have paid their due for their mistakes have it haunted seemingly forever. Keep the faith and all will be well in the end! sam

oh that sucks....have you tried craigslist.com yet?
I do hope that they find some place soon....and i don't know if they can discriminate against a felon unless he is a pedophile wanting to live close to a school....i would check into the fair housing law

In the last twenty years it has really gotten a lot more difficult to rent. They are so picky it is pitiful. You should see all of the lease rules, pages and pages of them, and immediate eviction if you mess up.
