Goodness wood is sold at £5 a little sackful here. It is considered sinful to cut a tree down unless it is dying. Sad really.

I have been fortunate in not having to deal too much with associations or townships...I wish you well in getting the job done.

If you are showing a fair intention of getting the work done,

maybe City Hall will grant you an extension of time to get it done.  Of course, removing dead trees undermines the natural environment, as those trees provide homes and food for many wild animals, as they naturally decay.

II don’t know about the dead trees. Would your son and you still do it

Sooner or later although there are dead trees down from Hurricane Sandy in golf course and I guess other wooded properties. That’s alright with me termites notwithstanding. But the car on blocks and couch in the yard’s alright and personal, in fact, your private property. It’s none of their business. I’ve had that about live healthy trees. People move to suburban subdivisions to be political bosses and big shots. They're helping themselves love.  BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Good grief.  I would be tempted to have all the wood made into a huge obscene sculpture and placed back in the garden - I bet you could get a college student to do it for peanuts...

Our whole county has those sorts of rules and regulations.
