I don't know about the dragonflies with the ten-foot wingspans, but yesterday and today in the warm sunshine we have been besieged with giant Bombus from the Bombini tribe trying to make a nest in the wood beams of our deck/porch. It is the full bloom of the flowering crab that is drawing them and then they make a make a beeline straight to our place.

That picture is so pretty, but of course you don't see the bugs. You know, the dragonflies with the 10-foot wingspans...

I could not imagine working there either. I'd be so nervous about something going seriously wrong.
