That stinks how that woman ended up treating you. I don't blame you for being angry at her...The IRS is so tough to work with.

I feel the same way that is why I was pissed and yes I have had to deal with them for almost five years and when they send out notices that you owe them such and such money you are suppose to believe them, but recently I decided to question them

Although the sale of that house might have been beneficial to that woman, the word "underhanded" still springs to mind in how she handled it. And be careful when taking on the IRS. That is a soulless organization if ever there was one . . .

Man alive, the IRS knows you can't pay and yet they keep you on the hook! I just don't get it at times! Perhaps if they eliminated the interest you could clear up this account but I suspect that will never happen! Too bad on the deal! It is definitely not the way to go about it but people will do what they will without consideration of the one affected! sam
