How did I miss this? The budding leaves gives me hope that we too will be blessed with some green soon! Speaking of green, I love that celery! I'm definitely gonna try that! And as to your hair cut - however disastrous the outcome, that's one of the few things in life, if not the only one, that always take care of themselves...

What a lovely post. I enjoyed it so much. I will try that with celery it is beautiful. I loved the song what wonderful lyrics. George does a lot of SG music for the nursing home patients; it is what they remember most to sing. I am sure your hair does not look as bad as you feel it does.

Loved the pictures and the song!! I cut my own hair for about 7 years and it looked worse each year, so I always get it done now!! Plus it was a lot of neck strain and heat in my upstairs apt! You have a nice view from your balcony; Glad today was a Good Day!!

Wow! That was kind of a strange transition! You have a cup of coffee while enjoying a beautiful view of your trees, and suddenly you feel compelled to cut your hair? What was in that coffee . . . ?

Good to read you taps.
That garden looks so nice and colourful, and don't worry your hair will grow back - I always cut my fringe myself because just to have that cut its £6 I can do it but not perect but it saves money.....

It is nice to have a little rest from Blogit, I always feel a bit nervous returning lest everyone has somehow become strangers. I hope you still have a little curl on your forehead.

OMG - you cut your hair too? That's so funny.
Mine has looked like you know what ever since the perm that turned it into a Brillo pad, and I've been tempted to print up a sign that says "This Salon Does Good Work" and walk back and forth in front of it.
I didn't know celery would do that - I'll try it next time.

I never thought of doing that with celery!
I get those basil plants at the grocery store that have a lot of leaves, and a root system. I use the leaves, and put the roots in water--in a while, more basil!
When I was a kid, we would sprout the carrot tops, but they never made new carrots.
Let me know if you need a summer hat...
