Well said. I live in hope that we will, as a people, move past our need for dominance and excess that lead to all of these atrocities.
I think it's also worth remembering that, despite trial by media, this guy is still just a suspect right now (although I understand he has committed a number of other crimes for which there is significant evidence)

Of course we all feel the same way. I can only hope that we don't have to keep feeling this way in that these atrocities will end sometime soon . . .
