well as you get older your skin gets thinner and I think it hit a thin skin part

I think I can. I hope you're alright. You may have been very lucky. Believe it or not, the forehead is the hardest part of the skull ( that's why soccer players are encouraged to use it to "head" soccer balls ). The temples are very soft and vulnerable, and of course you should be thankful it didn't strike either eye! The band-aids may look somewhat silly, but I don't think you had a choice this time around . . .

that must have been one heavy screen, be sure to take care of it,  and make sure you dont have a concussion by checking your pupils.

No, I don't have it either and hopefully won't need it for anything.
