My goodness, a technicality and she comes up on the wrong end! The hospital should have more helping to her since they knew she didn't have insurance! I hope there is help out there, she is too young to be saddles with such a huge bill! sam

they have to take care of them but when they get thesehumungas bills how are they to pay them, she could of bought a car with that amount and they dont expect you to pay cash for a car

It is so awful. Even for people who have insurance they can get huge bills for what is not covered.

the charges today are way out of line,
i dont pay much attention as i have medicare and veterans medical care. my children and there families have medical with their jobs, thank god, with my granddaughter having cancer.

Yeah, the entire health industry is out of control right now! I don't know either how they expect average people to pay some of these exorbitant medical bills! I know there are various organizations that can sometimes help, but without insurance of any kind, it's still an uphill battle. I hope it works out for her . . .
