simply, a criminal usually does not commit a crime that does nothing but kill, there is usually something involved like passion, money, revenge etc., and does not usually kill innocent people.
a terrorists is simply out to kill people, men, women, children for nothing at all.

Not to sound callous or anything, but I have a feeling that the victims and their families couldn't care less if the perpetrators of this horrific act are labelled criminals or terrorists . . .

Well it is really sad that anyone would sink to such a level. Perhaps when the cameras are examined clues may be forthcoming. For people to have their lives ruined on such an innocent occasion is truly awful.

I heard the guys on CNN use the word criminal, too.
I only watched that channel to confirm my suspicion they're careless. They speculate and assume facts not in evidence, flop up and down and run screaming that the sky is falling because a leaf falls on their feathers. Until the mystery is solved by the agents in charge, I'm doing my best to focus on the fast work of first responders and the number of FB pages I've seen offering prayers for Boston and the people involved.
