I used one of those some years ago - it wasn't 'Momey' but something else, whose name I forget. Anyway, it didn't really help me, because I often forgot to make the entries, or didn't make them because I was away. (In the days before I schlepped a laptop around). Anyway, since I pay virtually anything by some form of plastic or other these days, it's my bank that keeps my records for me, and they're welcome to them...

One hopes because they are reliable and busy, and not because they dawdle. Nothing but a hockey game or her beloved rug rats would persuade our friend Adnohr to slip by a deadline... And you're right, of course - it is less costly to do it ourselves. :)

Well I keep saying I will get an auditor Pat, but then I am saving money by not having one. Of course an auditor might save me more money than he or she would actually cost. The reason I like to do it myself is that I could do it as soon as possible after the tax year and forget about it. In my experience auditors mess around and usually have two years tax problems always floating behind them. Of course I could not have said this if our dear friend Adhnor was blogging at this time.
