The first time a bird did that at my place, I didn't realize it was a bird nest and pulled it down thinking it was just something the wind had blown in. I was quite dismayed when two little blue eggs broke on my porch. Since then, I just let them do what they want.

despite the blizzard, we saw our Robin back here for the first time this morning. I do hope it has not got eggs frozen in a nest. missed you love.

Wow This is awesome. That bird is going to a lot of trouble to build a nest that is falling down. Maybe just determined to show you it can do it, since last year was unsuccessful. LOL

Well, I believe my wife and I can double your displeasure! Both of our front door lights had bird's nests built on top of them! I think they may have thought it was a bird condo complex or something . . .
