Non-paying customers ought to be happy with any kind of flowers, LOL...And I do hope Arthur will soon get over his pain...The poem is as compelling as they always are, especially with that picture of moonlit thighs...

I hope that Arthur's mouth feels better...A couple great questions asked in the poem there.

Things are sounding complicated there, don't worry about the oldies I'm sure they'll be happy with whatever they get

Re:jeansaw

Hi JS. I tied a tablecloth across the top of the stairs in case Arthur should wake and tumble. Begonias need quite a bit of heat in the early stages, I think I may have run the heaters to low, trying to save on cost as the electricity just keeps becoming more expensive. Actually from what I remember you do not seem to have much luck with growing plants, perhaps your luck will change this year. Yes it is hard to imagine in the early throes of  emotion that one could meet one day as friends, although sadly in most cases it appears that the opposite usually happens.

Re:Annicita

Well fortunately my favourites are all growing strongly and I like to post living flowers, as it is more of a challenge somehow. The weather has been so awful so far, I have turned all the heating up in the greenhouses, perhaps I can save a few plants at this late stage.

Re: Sam

Hi Sam, sorry for giving you the welly, yes one really needs an entrance each end of a plastic tunnel to make a cool airflow. I have not had one for years and had forgotten how hot they can become.

Re: CCT

Poppies probably Bill, I don't think most flowers like it too hot

The last three days I have been having lots of trouble with my sinuses and it is worse when I lie in bed so I have been sleeping sitting up in my Laz-y-boy with a heated corn bag on the sinus area.  Finally this evening we had a terrible thunderstorm and lots of pouring rain.  Since that is over, my sinus pressure seems to be gone.  Maybe tomorrow will be a nice day.

So sorry to hear about Arthur! It has to be an awful situation! And, on the flowers you give away, just do the best you can and call it good! I can imagine that it got rather warm in the tunnel! sam

I always love the pictures of your flowers that you post.  What a loss for you and those you share them with here and there.  How kind of you to help Arthur with his sleeping problems.

begonias, arthur, and poem

cc so sorry about your poor begonias, i have never had any luck with them myself.

hope arthur is feeling better soon and do make sure he does not sleepwalk right into the hospital.

the poem spoke to me, i lived the part, we are untouched by love's old charms and so meet tenderly again in sated state, where no passion forms. really a beautiful and heartfelt poem.
