Isn't it a nice feeling? It's a form of bonding with one's environment, and I wouldn't be surprised if, in some strange way, objects grew 'accustomed' to us as well...

Love the title...

Once, in my new digs after I married and moved, I walked into the new room and reached for the light switch, sensing I was in my mom's house. Weirdly disorienting. It's good to find yourself in a new familiar.

Well I have lived in the same place nearly all my life. When 28 houses were built behind me, I did not look out of the window for two years, now I just ignore them, I suppose one can get used to anything, easier if you want to though
