How awfully sad about the fatal dental work (malpractice).
I love the memories of him and the children's firetruck. Love it!

You are in a much different situation to that BIL...which was really a
sad situation. Just think about me holding your hand tight as you go in and being there in Spirit form waiting for you to come through just fine.

Pat
What a very sad tale! But, as CCT suggests, dentistry has advanced tremendously! My dentist did excatly what's required a couple of years ago - insisting that I was completely free of the infection before he pulled a tooth! I actually like my dentist - he's very competent and we kid around a lot, but I still hate having to see him, which is something staring me in the face over the next few weeks! Yep, another molar gone...

While it's nice to keep a good memory Pat. However I think you will find that dentistry has moved on a lot since then. I I even had to fill in a form on my last visit and to confirm that I was not pregnant.

Life's a bittersweet affair, after all.
We have to swallow the bitter, and work to reaffirm the sweet, and give that the greater part of our attention, to redress the balance. I think cynicism is a way of keeping on top, too: I see what you're doing, and you will get away with it, but you can't fool me. I often resort to that, when I don't feel that I can do anything else.
