Calia an old gentleman once told me he tried to avoid the strawberry train. It went early in the morning with the fresh picked strawberries to London. He said it just smelled like manure. At Wimbledon when the first English strawberries appear, well used to appear as they are now like most things grown undercover for early consumption. The price is always exorbitant about six strawberries and cream. I once grew mint it went to Wimbledon to go with gin I believe.
