I agree, there have been a lot of dissappintments with the government as of late. It seems the election was a lose/lose situation this time. I had a lot of faith in Obama, and it sucks to see some of the things that he is approving, or turning a blind eye to.

the problem is that there is too much money being funneled into campaigns by pro israeli people....until that is stemmed or completely stopped the usa will always stick its nose where it doesn't belong in the middle east

politics is a really complicated subject
especially when it comes to foreign affairs. i tend to want it to be as simple as mind your own business, but i realize that we all need to pay attention and get involved in these matters. so here is what i have been told,
1.the us supplied afganistan weapons when they were fighting the russians, now we are fighting them and our own weapons are being used against us. 2. we were lied to about weapons of mass destruction and that iraq was our enemy, not long before that we were also supplying hussain with weapons that he used against his own people. and 3. i felt so sorry for the brits when they stood behind our lie.
i just wonder when we will mind our own business and find ways to make money and our nation strong without going to war.

another interesting post for me to think over. i have no idea how or what
may happen because of World situations....but whatever happens, Australia will trot along behind the USA.
