I too have not gone to church in many, many years, other than for a wedding or a christening. Not to be offensive or anything, but I always found it quite boring and redundant. I joined a Christian Brother's Fellowship on my own, stayed active in it for a couple of years, and learned more about the Christian faith during that time than the 12 years I was forced to endure Catechism! Now, my wife and I watch Joel Osteen every Sunday morning for our weekly dose of "inspiration" . . .

Mariss9...

Its good to see how down-to-earth a man Pope Francis is, not afraid to get out of his Pope mobile and get out to mingle with the crowds...he doesn't hide behind the walls of the Vatican, that is for sure....

I agree with you dear about the Pope. He is a man who believes in

helping the poor the weak and the sick etc. He really seems to want to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. To change the pomp and ceremony the corruption and evil that has a hold of the Church, he has to start change within himself so that it may spread. That is how he will bring change....Bless him and his ability to make changes.

C(Pope Francis’)comments of the Risen Savior and His freedeom from sin and love for the captives of the world made my day today and redeemed my Easter day. So it’s a beautiful day love. BC-A, Bill’s R®stö
