I have done the same as you in the wee hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep! It's mostly about making the coffee though! sam

Sounds like a beautiful family you have :)  I live far away from my family, too, and it's such a breath of fresh air to be able to see pics of them on holidays and just in general.  I do love facebook for that, two seconds of click and post and suddenly I'm in the know on what my sweet nephew and niece look like now and how the fam spent the holiday.  Hope you found your rest and tended to your laundry, if indeed that's what you really wanted to do

Brought back memories of my little ones hunting for eggs too. Unfortunately my rug rats will no doubt be sitting playing video games all day........ You're not that mixed up, TAPS. I'm surprised at how many people spend nights awake too - I though I was a rare case until I stared chatting about it....and reading. Lots of company!

You belong with us dear Taps...we live mixed up and we can be awake most of

the night and sleep until lunch time. Such fun being old eccentric and free.LOl.

You don't seem very mixed up to me other than timewise ,a night owl who likes operating on a different time table.  I marvel at people who have energy at night, I have had to work the night shift and always have some level of loathing it, since my body wants to shut down then and has to keep going.

Just don't get your functions confused, like sprinkling grated cheese on your clothes and throwing those English muffins into the washing machine . . . !

TAPS..winter is taking another shot at us today, too...

After some sunny spring days around 60F, today we're back stuck in the 30's with snowflurries...

TAPS

You have earned the right to sleep when ever it is easy for you. You do not have to rise and shine at six and get little boys off to school then go to work. So sleep at noon if you choose.  I hope you will send us some photos of your sons garden this year it sounded wonderful last year. I hope this cold snap is short lived. Be blessed dear one.

I love those pictures of the kids in Easter finery...

My son posted a black & white photo on just that from 1968. He was about seven, his baby sister two, and the little cousins were three and four - all carrying baskets and ready for the hunt. Good times.
