Violence so-called in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ angers me, Katray2. I do not attend a house of worship, but I know Jesus and I pray to Him and honour Him in my own home and in my own way. I was disillusioned by the church long ago.
Another problem for me is that I believe in various teachings of various religions. Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity...There is only one redeemer, but He is called by many different names...So long as we bow to Him and Him alone, He does not mind.
The reason Jesus was sent to us was to teach us to have compassion, love, and charity for others. Whether they share our beliefs or live by the rules of their own. To declare that He permits violence towards others in His name is a sin, as far as I'm concerned.
I hope you had a blessed and joyful Easter Sunday knowing that Jesus loves you very much and will heal you in accordance with His perfect will.

Loved both poems and the colors with their meanings inspired on an early Spring morning. Jesus is certainly more significant than mankind's interpretations of religion that can be corrupted with fighting.

that a man named Jesus walked upon the earth and brought a new commandment,to us from his Father...to love one another as he loves us.
