Hmmm . . . quite unusual. Not too many women would admit to that!

I am not going to pretend to know a thing about real depression, but sometimes I get gloomy and start beating myself up for not doing housework things, and I find that when I force myself to do the very things I'm beating myself up for not doing, I find reason to pat myself on the back and it cheers me up.

well, my view is that we (our culture)

has made us slaves to housework and to things or stuff or material possessions, whatever you want to call that stuff.   we have to go out and do jobs to survive, that most of us dislike, and just end up making the bosses wealthy.  its no wonder that everyother person in the u.s. is depressed.  not to mention that the drug companies, give us antidepressants that make us want to kill ourselves, so that they can get rich.

our maker did not intend for humans to live this way, he gave us special talents, which we cannot use, like artist, caretakers, animal lovers, etc, because you cannot make a living at the talents we were given.  we cannot spend our lives enjoying the earth and its bounty, because we have to work at jobs we hate.  we are slaves to this wordly system of things.

I went on strike years ago, as far as keeping house.

No one noticed.

It can be tough to keep up on the household things. If you think you're not doing well with the household tasks, you ought to see my aunt and uncle's house. They have three dogs, and it looks awful.
