She is a great person, Pat_B, strong and a sense of humor besides.
SHe has been through so much in her life. Hopefully she'll find some peace now.

. She certainly was there for me. It was because of her selfless devotion that I was able to bring my mom home for her final weeks. I'd have never been able to do it without this lady.

I feel sad that your friend is doing such a move alone at 71, I know what it's like to be apprehensive at 76 and I'll be 77 when my Kabu leaves. I have to remind myself I've done it before every year, that's something we agreed on before we married, she would go back to Aussieland every year.But I still feel sad about your friend but so grateful she has you as a loving friend kiddo.

You are one big bundle of love and realiability. when needed there you are
full of practical common sense. like others here, I SMILE everyday knowing life is richer for me because you are our friend. xx. having you to help her over that awful tiring worrying time, you very well may have saved her life.
