- Go to DIETS are DEPRESSING...Part III
I wonder if watching a cooking show could be self defeating! Ah well, one must have their entertainment I suppose! sam

Yep - diets ARE depressing, but you're making it sound do-able, and good results can easily take care of the depression.

Son #3 (Phil's Dad) has been on a diet regimen for a week now. He even engaged a nutritionist from his 24-Hour Fitness place. He wants to be slim and trim for his 50th BD in September.

This here blog prof, seems like a sexually enjoyable one the way you speak about the pears. I would also say that with a 36" waist you are as mentally ill as am I, at least with a 42" waist I have a right to diet. I think you're just fishing for a skinny wench.

That's the way to look at it! And it appears we have the same waste size! I too seem to fluctuate between those 36s and those 34s . . .

well slacks size 36 sound good to me...I tried to pull up a pair of cords
the other day, they wouldn't ...pull up that is. Sigh!!!!
but I did have some exercise this morning...I got out the new vacuum and felt so justified as I used it because I know our Naut hates vacuuming and .....Oh figure it out yourself!

I was the opposite. I weighed less during the colder months because I was in school and not around food...I eat better now.

Congrats on the loss!
I wonder what each of the ingredients in the soup does, and if there are other, tastier things that have the same effect.

I refuse to step on my scale. Couple days ago I did and those
pounds I was so happy to lose and keep off for months have begun to sneak back. I thought there was a little less slack in my slacks. We desperately need good walking weather. Congrats, Naut, on losing so far 3.5 - that's impressive!
