How could anyone eat eight bananas in one day? I don't even like bananas. I can't make it through one.

While I applaud your effort, may I suggest vegetarian meats instead of red meat? It will make a difference . . .

I'm not going to say anything about this diet,
since you seem determined on it. If you change your mind, let me know.

Oh my goodness Naut...
I made it all the way to the bananas and skim milk day. Eight glasses of skim milk would make me forever thin. I would never be able to eat again.
Keep it going and us informed.

Nautikos
Well anybody who weighs 300lbs has a job to do on themselves.Actually, I have been on a diet for 6 years . on and off and in all that time I have lost 28 lbs. I would say don't focus on quicky dieting, very unhealthy for older chaps. Kabu, my loving blonde tells you it is very dangerous. Good luck.

Diets are depressing. Thinking of them as healthy eating plans is
just a bit more positive. Is it necessary to cook everything? The raw veggies at least have crunch and texture, not as blah as soup. The icky after effects of not dieting are far more depressing than taking control - being short of breath, achy knees and hips, high blood pressure, poor memory. It's not just age. I have to tell myself this so I'll have the moral fibre to stick to the damn diet.
