Believe it or not, I actually learned what a "pram" was from watching "Monty Python & The Holy Grail." During their ode to Camelot, to complete the rhyme, someone sang that they "had to push the pram a lot." So of course I had to look that up and . . . viola!

I think pram races need a bit of good buying at Boot sales to get a strong vehicle Naut.
But I applaud you for taking up the challenge. Nice memories.

Funny the kinds of races communities get into:
Three-legged races, wheelbarrow (or pram) races, pancake toss races, etc. The lumberjacks in the mill town where I grew up had log-spinning contests, where two guys wearing spike shoes tried to spin the log from under one another in the mill pond. :)
