Those flowers are so very lovely that they could very easily give me "an everlasting trip into happiness".

Re: C.C.
Thank you Justi. Expectations are a bit high at times, nice when it runs smoothly though

Re:
Good for you A hope you feel OK. A bit of a wrench leaving your hubby, but safer here and for him. I would imagine.

Re: It's so true. I hate resigning myself, though, when I know there's more.
Pat I really think you are a secret romantic and really it is nice to think like that. I wish you had been shown more kindness and had been treated more gently. Not much to ask time heals I suppose.

Re: Marrise
Yes Marrise indeed things could be a lot worse, I know they could be better, but it is well to remember why things are like they are. We sometimes become a bit blase`
with the norm, but sometimes it is more comforting.

CCT...
"It is usual for romance to expect an everlasting trip into happiness"...how true that is, but reality is quite different as we find out...excellent poem, CCT.

I have observed many of these things and found them to often be true. But life goes on and it is best to make the most of it and appreciate the small blessings. Great poem and Picture.

C.C.
What a wise post. There were so many good lines in there. One I liked was we expect more but are satisfied with less. This is really good.
