Re: Kabu,
The cats don't like to show thrilled too readily. But they recognize a favorite Warm Spot, and put it to good use.

Of course they were pleased.
So glad you made it safely.

You must be tired after that long long drive and I am comforted that you
are there. Surely the cats would be thrilled to see you. Hope the trip continues to be all that you planned. That you can collect all that belongs to you without any trouble.

Re: Naut,
Heh... figured you'd be back :)
Charlie says that when people get in cars, they forget their sense of community. I think he's right about that!

Pressed the wrong button again the first time, LOL. Anyway, I'm glad you made it safely. I like driving long distances, actually, but that's just me. I also like driving at night, but I know what you mean by drivers who don't lower their high beams. In my previous car I had extra-super-bright ones, and one flash with those would get those idiots to lower theirs; maybe I'll have to get them again...

Re: Annicita, thanks!
Astonishing how many drivers simply ignore that simple reminder. If they leave their brights on despite a winking hint, I can get cantankerous enough to leave mine on, too. But not on a two-way, two-lane road.
Eye-doc says one reason I have such difficulty with on-coming lights is that I've begun to develop cataracts that make them seem brighter.

ah if its fog its to alert somebody or see somebody .... fog is so difficult to navigate thru...otherwise just a quick winking of your brights reminds them to turn off theirs until they pass you...
