I agree there are better ways to make friends.FB is a good place to view family photos and I don't spend too much time there.🌹

Pat...
There's no question "Facebook" has two sides...I don't bother with it anymore as its grown much too big to be worth my time (just my opinion).

No you want to see the whites of their eyes Pat. I keep getting offers of friendship, but they don't know that I am an Orc. Well you know what I mean it could be any one. I joined the Home craft of America by mistake and they keep sending me invitations to art craft features,

i said that I would never go on FB...only one person could get me to
so I said yes to my Son...but to me it is stupid...except for a few family photos.

It's all about using good judgement. Facebook is great for keeping up, but some things we take, others we leave. Dudes who want to be friends and on the hunt are a definite FLUSH in my book too. I have had friends of friends ask, and be accepted, usually because they are hockey fans, not necessarily the HABS, but the game. So okay, of course!

I find the entire Facebook scene completely off-putting and don't waste any time on it...

I agree. If you're going to "meet" someone, better to do it face to face. I myself don't trust Facebook or any on-line sight of a similar nature . . .
