Yeah, that does sound like a royal pain in the butt, but also disheartening thinking that someone did it on purpose. I hate to say it, but that "dog guy" would be my first suspect too . . .

I'm so sorry! I trust you took pictures, and yes, you must file a police report! They can't do much, of course, but it's important for the insurance...

Pain in the .... neck, even though nobody touched you.
I'm imagining nothing of value was in the truck or stolen. I had my car window broken once and had to drive 5 hours home with plastic covering and duck tape. Cops told me when I called mine was one of about 27 that morning. West Seattle.

yes you really need to file that police report...it's the first thing insurance company ask for and suspect fraud if you don't file one....

I am sorry to read this and yes with a police report insurance, everything
is easier. Just what you don't need.
