It would seem that the wages of leading sports men are insanely high but I was reading a study recently about UK soccer players and it seems that over 75% of them are bankrupt within 5 years of retirement. The study theorised that getting vast amounts of money with no real struggle meant that the players never really learned the value of their money or how to budget it.
The big winners from high pay for soccer stars are (apparently) the owners of sports car dealerships...

It will be interesting to see who breaks Flacco's salary record! I would think it would be a quarterback, too! And, I worked around my place because it said we were to get rain! So, I exhausted myself only to learn that the rain is not coming! Why we trust in the weather folks is beyond me! sam

Our weather has changed now, no more snow, milder temperatures bring melting snow everywhere. I'm happy to have the roof cleared on the house and garage. Good for your Ravens.
