I suppose some folk just like to read and not to get involved in any form of personal acquaintance. I do find it quite time consuming to reply to comments, but I do try even if I miss some occasionally. I suppose it is good manners to reply to the person who writes a comment and if this irks, one can always visit that person's last blog and plonk a flower or a star upon it.

Years ago (that sounds funny, doesn't it? LOL) I used to respond to all comments, but had to give it up - it ended up consuming far too much time. But, as you know, I will still respond if I think a comment is particularly interesting...As to the moron who wrote that stupidity in answer to your comment, just disregard him completely.
There are two or three people here on Blogit that probably shouldn't be, but hey, it's a free country. I have actually blocked one of those guys, because he became overly offensive...

PS. my daffodil rock is just a little one...i want to remind myself that
the Spring will come eventually. My bulbs are covered in feet of snow still at the moment and I am hoping that the ground is way to frozen for greedy squirrels so dig down and eat too many of them!!

I think I've seen that too but, as you've said, I don't mind going to my actual page and responding to people that way. I think it's great to see the flow of conversations going back and forth amongst everyone, and I enjoy being a part of that . . . !
