Re: Adnohr
Hi Adnohr I hope you feel more awake today. I will soon have that horrible job of trawling through my tax accounts. I keep saying I will get an auditor to do it, but as long as is
accepted, I think let sleeping dogs lie . Though honestly one tends to be more truthful when doing one's own accounts. It could not have been much of a life the children in Bessie's time, but somehow they did not seem despondent. Thankful for small mercies I suppose .

Re: Pat
Pat your explanation I agree is quite accurate, I suppose expectation is always too highly rated. I am glad you like this little tales my mother must have told them to me when I was a boy, it is funny none of my siblings know much about their parents early lives.

Re: Justi
Hello Justi I know it is a bit naughty putting it all on one blog, but folk can just read what they like and save time. Be happy,

Re:
Hi Sam, I used to make flower pictures from dried petals, the glue was perfect in those days, but it had the most horrible smell imaginable. I shall have to see if the part on the car still holds this morning. I have packet of sticky plasters just in case

A, it is comparatively easy when one has the project already rewritten, but don't tell anyone.

Wiley
Well Wiley, I guess you know more about it than I do, you will be the first to know if the chair collapses, I mean the leg had come completely off so he may drilled it is well I don't know.

Re: Kabu
Oh dear kabu I haven't got room for an extra chair, no it must be serviceable or cast away , anyway I have sufficient faith in my brother's work, he will probably make it so that an elephant could sit on it.

You're a corker with your posts...stories and poems from the past
and of lovin' an' all. and that there glue sounds a bit like snake oil so be careful of the chair. Put it in a corner where it looks nice and sit on another.

Love the glue story Bro. and I just use white wood glue on chairs. For Kabu's rocks I use construction glue with my caulking gun and it holds rocks in alright.

My goodness you have had a rough time of it with car and chairs! And, too funny on the glue that got the rave reviews! LOL! It would be my luck for it to fall apart, too! sam

Bits falling off your car, a chair collapsing - I think a few things need a spring make-over, LOL. Bess' reminiscences are great fun, and your latest Wolfy Dunn poem is priceless...

I have been fortunate when it comes to chairs...Reading the poem reminds me of when I was in school. Lots of interesting days there.

The glue you describe seems made for a bride and a groom
at the start of their life. It lets go too soon at the dark of the moon and their wandering's sure to bring strife...
I remember those 4th Grade boys and how they loved to pick on girls. Necessary evils, I thought then. And then they grew up to be men.
Wolfy Dunn? I do love those stories, and think your adventures put the writers of Downton Abbey to shame. :)

Hmmm - strong glue, but obviously not long-lasting. Loved the poem Bess, and always enjoy Ms Wolfy Dunn. So mama bear was training sonny for her daughter??
