We have an area in my town called the Greenbelt that runs along the Boise river and it's a marvelous place to walk, ride a bike, jog and it even has a fitness area with specific stations to tone up the body! I am with you I like living near a place like this! sam

Re: Naut
I really don't jog anymore. I have to much floppy stuff on me. But, I do love walking the trails and I step right along.

You really make me long for the warm weather...And yes, a-jogging I shall go again, LOL! Of course, there was a time when I did it even in winter...And I am very glad that in the many miles I've put in I never ran into a dead body, or became one, LOL...

This was a fun, scary post, just thinking of the dark, deep woods, gas lights, and a solitary jogger, spooky!!

Something that I understand since coming here to live...I miss the sea
but the woods make up for that.

I guess they should change Scarritt Point to Scary Point! No, I don't suppose coming across a dead body is something any jogger would wish for!

How great to have good trails in all the places you have lived. It might not have been bad to go to the scary place on occaision if the people were not killed there anyway; it sounds like a good hiking trail.

It's good to think of summer paths through woodlands and scenic
overlooks, and I'll think of young love and let the grim and gruesome stuff populate some other writer's horror story.
