The mountains of grit-covered snow along the strip mall lot
remind me just by their shape of my mountain home and the winter of 1952, a Christmas postcard of a winter when everything shut down and the town made a festival of it. There was a campfire, a giant kettle of hot cocoa and home made cookies, and people took turns riding someone's giant home-made toboggan. Didn't realize then it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. :)

My goodness the snow is making a mess of things! And I think it's great that you do your rent paying the old fashion way! It's nice to see the people who work there, too! I put my rent in the mail on the 1st of each month because it's convenient for me! But, I hope that ends soon! LOL! sam

1I walked down and later up a slight muddy hill to bring back coffee and have chicken nuggets with my coupon after work, waiting for the bus love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Re: Naut
Try Rio. My NY nephew just got back to NY after a vacation, from the snow and cold, in Rio. Here's one of the pics he took of a really great "Sugar Loaf".

We've been fortunate - snow over night, and sun during the day! But still, I've had it! I may just go to FL for the March break...

I like the socializing bit with neighbors, or staff on rent day. I am praying for your snow to go away... Come on Spring. But what's with sending it to us? On the way from Missouri is snow tomorrow and the day after, so says our weather man. LOL

A dreary winter it is in KS. I ended up losing part of my gallery railing, torn down by the heavy snow. It's unusual here though - I guess our buildings are designed for these kind of winters. I hope the man is going to be okay. I like your monthly visits to pay your rent!

Snow is Ugly and way more dangerous in Town than here where we get
cute animal paw marks across the snow and the rest is pristine. Even where the snow plough heaps it up, it gets covered with fresh snow and becomes a mountain but tunneled through by squirrels so that it all is just delightful.
