I have not lost a child, how utterly unbearable! But, I did lose a sister at the age of 1. I, too have wondered how it would have been had she lived, who she would be and so forth! But, you are right it is better to live in the moment because we do not know what will happen in the next moment! How cool to be the best grandma in the world, too! Now that would make my day like it did yours! sam

Dancin' Grandma...

I cannot fathom the pain of losing a child.  I am sad for you, but thankful that you had two years to be with your beautiful son.  He knows how much you love and miss him, because he loves and misses you, too.  But know this, he is with God who loved him so much that he created him and allowed you to care for him in the time that you had him.

He waits for you in Heaven and smiles down on you with love.

I am so happy you had a wonderful day in the park playing space ship.

Love the way you interact with 'T' and Ari. You are their lucky charm. My heart goes out to you for your son.

what heart menders those two beautiful children are. So loving, so bright

and yes you are a most wonderful Grandma and I agree we never know how long we will have with them and every moment is precious. A parent never really stops grieving for a child lost. We can't make provision for the death of one of our babies. I am sorry you lost your little boy.

dancin' grandma

PI’ve seen my cousins, gravestone who died by two. But you know there was a Mercedes finished with cement for a 17 year old rich boy who died in a car crash the night of his senior prom. That’s the car that he would have received. So we rejoice in the happy life of your other son. And offer sympathy for those young people gone love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

I am so happy you had such a great day on one otherwise sad one. I know how that feels, I had two sons pass but they were much older than the little sweetie. God bless you dear lady. You will see him again, thankfully.
