The miserable squirrel who lives by you is putting out a lot of
anger and irrationality - which causes people to reflect it back on him. Your refusal to engage is the only wise course, I think. If it were me, I'd be having second thoughts about signing a lease anywhere near him. Sounds like crap just waiting to hit the fan.

This guy really scares me take care of you my dear friend. and am looking
forward to the pictures. Oh and Davy doggie is only doing what comes natural I believe, protecting his territory, bless his little heart.

In a couple of days, when I have possession of my new place and the yard that goes with it, we will have Davy outside there, well away from the sidewalk. Any time he is in this yard, one of us will be right there on the back porch, watching him. The guy is unlikely to try something if there's a witness.
I appreciate the concern, and I hope your neighbor has a sudden flash of insight, too.

I'm with Jimmy. I'd try to keep Dacy inside when he goes by too - just in case. One thing about my case - we're in Canada. Neighbours don't run arund with guns - it's against the law.

Although you yourself are a "civil" person, I would already be reluctant to engage in any conversation with anyone who knowingly carries a gun! He sounds like an accident waiting to happen, and the 6 o'clock news is already filled with daily tragedies! You don't want to be a part of one . . .
