What Sinome wrote in her comments applies to what mine would have been...I would like to add that in the Baltiimore Area most banks that I have been to have signs against hats, sunglasses, etc., but it's not enforced.

Passing a law against a particular way of dressing in the US won't be easy though there have been precedents, like when they passed the law against low rider pants, but that law wasmostly passed locally at different cities and it was based on the exposure of the toushy which was borderline immoral... burkas are the dressings of a religion and no matter how much we dislike such religion, a law against that my friend will be almost impossible to pass because it deals with the freedom of religion which is so ingraned into our way of thinking... It would be interesting to watch though... to see how far can fear push the hand of the law, what are we willing to lose to gain security. Be well xoxoxo
