Little birds have a rough time I suppose those that fall into the sea are snapped up, but it must sort out the weakest one supposes. One lucky little fellow. A nice memory to cherish

how quick we are to judge...I too thought that they were going to eat the

little bird...glad it was human kindness at work. and how could you stand the end of such an adventure looming. I don't want it to end I am enjoying this so much.

How long were you on this ship anyway?  I can believe you are going home already!  Its been such a great ride I don't think I want it to end :-)  Only a good writer can keep the attention of his readers captive without adding sex or violence to the plot ... and you are doing it with such a great story that we learn something new every day.  But I got to ask  No giant squids????  xoxoxoxo

That would have really sounded wonderful to me.  I have always felt that the best part of any adventure was the part when it was time to go home.
