I will have to look that type up, but I am not aware of any twins on either side of my relatives. You have led a very interesting life! Twins in the yard...

According to both of my parents, the case of "twinnings" is unbelievably rare on both sides of my family ( I think I have two distant second-cousins who are twins ). Other than that, the bulk of my family would be considered singletons . . .

Re: FSI
I was rather curious to see if any of the Blogit friends that I have known and read would step up and say, "I am a twin." It is difficult for me to think there might be two like you, or that your sister might be your twin.

My brother's wife had twins, after 4 singles, which gave them
six kids in five years. At that he went for a vasectomy.

This is a very interesting post. I don't know of any twins on either side as far back as I know. Ours was a family who told all the stories way way back so I don't think there were any. I loved the quote at the end.

Perhaps the old English proverb trying to light a candle at both ends comes into play Taps.

I had the same thing happen with my second child, a boy. I miscarried his twin at 3 months, and my family doc was so perturbed when he found I was still pregnant that he sent me to a specialist. My son (who made it all the way to 9 months) always said that he is doubly intelligent because of this.

In my family I only know of singletons through the generations, although one of my brothers and I share the same birthday - six years apart...

Mine were singletons too, and they had friends that were twins as well! But I don't recall it being as many as you had around! I think it was just two sets! Now it's got me thinking back all those years ago! LOL! sam
