Believe it or not, I have read of similar incidences over the years, proof positive of Big Brother's ever-reaching grasp on our personal and private lives. And unfortunately, there's really not a whole heck of a lot any of us can do about it ( other than to always be extremely careful as to what you say and what you post! ) I'm glad your son was spared the horrors of a terrible war like that, and I'm glad to see you no longer have to more or less live in fear of this Man!

That would be a shock to me, too! It's crazy how things can happen! I do know that the military looks for bright people! They tested my son like crazy but he was not interested in the intelligence route of the military preferring to be one of the guys! But to get caught up in it when it's not a choice can be frightening to parent and child! It's great it all worked out but a nightmare nonetheless! sam

Re:

Thank you for reading, Adnohr. A simple cease and desist letter would have been enough for me to correct my stupid mistake by removing his name from the posts. Or he could have tried to sue me, though I didn't actually defame him. The fact that the legal system was ignored and this method or whatever one wants to call it, was used was deeply chilling, as intended I'm sure.

Fascinating read! Went back to the beginning, and yes, googling a name will bring you to whaever has been written about that name. In the Man's case, there were probably people hired fulltime to do such research. Very scary. Happy you were able to save your son.
