Well Naut, chess didn't get to be chess by being like checkers, what I mean is, that one should never bet a man at his own game. My dad could never think of beating me at chess and I could never hope to beat him at checkers.

a really interesting take on the subtle differences in game playing

to me Chess backgammon and Bridge are the three big games to master....OK mahjong too I suppose.

Love it Naut , now I used to be a dab hand at draughts, but I guess that would be a bit tame for you.
