Re:Naut

Pleas don't say you are a connoisseur of that delicate art of cooking, I suppose you will be tossing pancakes tomorrow. .

Re: taps

Good for the blood, can't say I like turnips much, they smell funny. But still such words don't butter turnips. as the old saying goes.

Re:

Yes Sam breaking from that chocolate ice cream ritual was pretty tough, Archie came down today with packets of seeds, so it looks like I shall have to heat up one greenhouse.

Re:Kabu

You can grow orchids? that is  nice Kabu although Wiley was demeaning towards the one I bought for my SIL, perhaps he only likes the common ones. Only joking don't tell him I know he does not read replies.

Pretty flowers! And no, you don't want to mess with the chef, or you may be eating only chocolate covered ice cream! Major Corncrake is a naughty boy, and who are the delicate ladies on the site??

I knew this guy with a wandering eye, he lives down the lane from me.

He asked me to tea, said to drop by at three, but there was somewhere I'd rather be.

Why do I start writing this stuff every time I read your lovely fluff?

You certainly picked up some lovely primroses! I want to get started planting! And, I have been waiting for a long time to be able to get a house, my last one, and I really want to have more house plants but buying them now and transporting in cold weather doesn't make good sense! The next time I see a decent sale I doubt I will be able to pass them up but I will try to remember how you stayed away from the chocolate until a time that made sense for you! sam

That is a lot of willpower there with the chocolate...I like the twist with the wife...Paying for the tea, I see...The flower brightens my day.

How beautiful the flower.
On being a chef--I do most of the cooking around here.  I always tell son if you don't like it fix something for yourself.  He doesn't complain, but I did notice that he spurned my turnip greens with pieces of turnip in them.

CCT

Three for three - I think your prime primroses are fab, Major Corncrake is a hoot, and I even like Arthur's mushrooms with garlic - almost as tasty as mine...
